The avocado fruit is rich in Vitamin A, B, C, E and K. The Vitamin A is important if you want to have good eye sight while the Vitamin B helps an individual in maintaining healthier skin, hair and nails. Moreover, the Vitamin C can help boost your immune system to protect yourself against diseases, the Vitamin E can slow the process of aging to help you keep a younger looking appearance and the Vitamin K can improve fast healing process particularly when it comes with blood clotting.
Apart from these vitamins, the avocado is considered as the no. 1 food because it offers a array of minerals which are necessary for the growth and development for instance, the calcium, magnesium and potassium. The calcium and magnesium can help maintain healthier and stronger bones and teeth while potassium can aid in building and strengthening the blood components. In addition, it has a total of 18 to 22 amino acids which are necessary for building and repairing the muscles and tissues of the body at the same time for strengthening the immune system.
Following the olive, the avocado fruit is the second of its kind that has the
largest amount of mono-unsaturated fatty acids accounting about 20 percent. The amount is twenty times as compared with other fruits. Besides, this type of fatty acid is good for the body because it’s a good fat which is helpful in lowering the levels of cholesterol and blood pressure as well.
The fruit also contains poly-saturated fats and this is necessary to obtain by our body because it acts as an anti-inflammatory agent wherein it lubricates our joints at the same time can enhance our brain functioning.
